Beyond the barrel: the unique process behind the added fulvic acid in L-CBF BOOST

We love how Direct Driller captured the story behind one of the most unique parts of our production process — how we add fulvic acid to L-CBF BOOST in a way that’s sustainable and circular.

In the article, “Beyond the Barrel: The Unique Process Behind the Added Fulvic Acid in L-CBF BOOST,” author David Maxwell explains how our site works alongside Distinct Distillers, a small rum distillery that uses the same molasses we do. When the distillery finishes making rum, a nutrient-rich distillate remains — and instead of letting it go to waste, we put it to work.

That distillate is full of fulvic acid, a powerful natural compound that helps plants take up nutrients more efficiently. By adding it into our L-CBF range — including BOOST, TL17, TL30, and Amino 15 — we’re turning what could be a by-product into a real agronomic benefit.

It’s a simple but clever bit of circular thinking, and we’re really proud of how it’s helped make our products even more effective. You can read the full piece on Direct Driller here.
